Pricing
Wedding cake prices have long been marketed by “per serving” cost plus delivery if applicable. The industry standard serving size is 1” by 2” by the height of the cake. The beginning of the design process involves calculating the desired servings with the overall dimension and size of the cake tiers to formulate the completed cake.
Design complexity and technical difficulty can greatly increase the price of our cakes. Standard wedding cakes are priced from $4.75 per serving and are inclusive of more accoutrements. They included multiple fillings, specialty cake flavors, custom color matching, heavier detail, and inspired client designs. Either choice will result in a taste that is unmatchable.
A Slice of Heaven will not knowingly be underbid for the same professional quality and technical design cake by a local competitor in the Sarasota area.
Brides on a Budget
This line of wedding cakes offers great value with the same integrity as all our products. We created this price category for those brides that were considering a supermarket cake or one from a non qualified novice. The tiered cake pricing for this limited line is $3.75 per serving. When are tastings available?

Creative Design Suggestions
We can offer multiple suggestions for all of your design ideas and concerns including pricing. There is many different ways to achieve your ultimate wedding cake goals. We want satisfied customers and value you as a client no matter how large or small your event is. Destination wedding planning is something we handle on a weekly basis. Note to brides with small wedding guest lists: With the tall height of our cakes the smallest two tier cake serves 44.
Groom's Cakes
We love doing Groom’s cakes! They are a special sometimes crazy cake that is all about the groom. Usually placed next to the wedding cake at the reception or served at the rehearsal dinner. Give him a little something special since the entire wedding is all about the bride. They can be something simple or a tricked out 3 d carved cake. (No additional delivery charges for multiple cakes to the same destination at the same time)
Tasting Appointments and Times
Appointments are taken no more than 9 months prior to wedding.
Available times are Tuesday thru Thursday, From 10:00am to 4:00 pm.
After hours on Wednesday and Thursday Evenings.
Fill out a request form online or call the shop to schedule a session.
Bring with you any and all materials related to the design of your cake. Pictures, flowers, fabric and or color swatches, etc. we love client inspired designs.
Delivery
Delivery is additional and starts @ $45.00 in local area.

How to Begin
Book a wedding cake tasting appointment online with one of our designers at no charge. (Click here to book tasting).
We can conduct the entire design, contract, and deposit payment online via website, email and phone for those destination brides.
Email us with your design ideas, pictures of your dream cake or questions about cakes. We can even make recommendations for other fine wedding vendors in the area.
Once you select a design, this will determine the per serving cost of your wedding cake. Total cost is the portion cost times the servings plus delivery! You can scale up or down the portions when your final payment is due, four weeks prior to the event!
